Welcome to the Prairie House! We have been here since 1989, providing great food and cooking for the locals; and always looking to take it further. We are all foodies at heart and have been doing it since the early 1990s. We love to cook, and we love to put great food that's good for you on your plate. We only offer food from the 50 States that we live in. From our Iowa pork- to our Texas beef, and our Mississippi catfish. Here at the Prairie House we are really proud of that. We bring America and Texas to the plate. One thing that we do is, if it comes in a can- we do not serve it! We also cook with Mesquite wood and no gas. Pure Mesquite wood, on pure fire, on pure food. That's what we are all about. Not only are we a great restaurant with pure natural food, but we also have party rooms, and provide catering for your events.
