Little Chapel in the Woods

Designed by famous architect O’Neal Ford and dedicated by Eleanor Roosevelt, this small chapel has withstood many conflict-stricken eras as a symbol of strength and love. The tranquil scenery around the chapel and the beautiful stained glass windows of women in various professions are just a few of the distinctions that make The Little Chapel in the Woods a treasure for weddings, recitals, baptisms, memorials and concerts.
The first wedding in the non-denominational Chapel took place in 1939. When a bride selects the Chapel for their wedding they are not only choosing a beautiful place but also becoming a part of a rich tradition. The Chapel is an extraordinary value and experienced staff will do all the work for you. Wedding packages are available that include a banquet hall for the all inclusive event.
The Little Chapel in the Woods was featured as one of “The Best 10 Buildings in Texas” by Texas Monthly in 2009 and designated as one of Texas’ 20 most outstanding architectural achievements by the Texas Society of Architects.
